WAKA TAKAHASHI repurposes pre-owned, used, deadstock / archive leather into stylish leathergoods.

Leather is natural material. However, most of them in the market are chrome dyed that turn into toxic waste.

Instead of leaving them age in the pile, or producing more vegan or vegetable tanned leather, Waka's mission is to create longer life for the remains with lovable design.

Each leather is applied with nutrients and hydration, and re-polished into best condition.

Waste isn't waste until we waste it.

Waka starts her career as a leather handbag and footwear designer based in New York City and Tokyo after graduating Parsons the New School for Design.

She trains with several handbag factories producing maison brands in Italy for few years to gain deep knowledge of luxury leather bags. After relocating to Tokyo in 2019, she launches her leathergoods line.
